PROPERTY LAW ACT 2007

Expert valuers can provide a very useful contribution to the dispute resolution process, in all its forms. The Property Law Act 2007 specifically provides for valuation evidence. Peter Bates' property law background and legal training provides a useful foundation for reliable valuation advice in this statutory context. We can work with your legal advisor to inform decision making and negotiation and can provide valuation evidence.
We have advised in a range of Property Law Act disputes and can discuss the valuation issues involved in this context. Many cases have turned on the valuation evidence. Disputes which may be especially assisted by valuation advice may include: wrongly placed structures, division in kind, modification of covenants, s333-335 provisions involving light, views, trees, fences/walls and new construction or building extensions.

Bates Valuation Evidence Limited does not provide regulated legal services and you should seek independent legal advice. Please feel welcome to call or have your lawyer contact us.
